Project T-50 was created to bring together the knowledge and experience of leading Russian and international engineers, designers and developers, and to build a new light Russian aircraft together with a powerplant for it.

Who we are looking for

Chief project designer

Experience: at least 5 years as a lead engineer or deputy chief designer on a light or ultralight aircraft project certified to AP-23, CS-23, FAR-23. Experience with modern design methods.
Education: higher technical degree in aviation engineering.
Knowledge: the full aircraft development cycle from concept design to type certification.
Tasks: re-engineering of the Piper PA-28 with possible improvements in technology, weight and cost. Technical leadership of the project, approval of design documentation, liaison with IAC AR, EASA, FAA.

Design engineer

Experience: 3+ years designing structural elements of light aircraft.
Education: higher technical degree in aviation engineering.
Knowledge: confident command of professional CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks or Kompas-3D) and structural analysis modules (FEA). Practical knowledge of aircraft weight control, aerodynamics and modern metalworking and composite manufacturing. Knowledge of AP-23 and CS-23 to the extent required for subsequent certification of changes. Familiarity with the Piper PA-28 or similar Cessna and Beechcraft designs is a strong advantage.
Tasks: design side of the Piper PA-28 re-engineering with possible improvements in technology, weight and cost. Airframe, cockpit and instrument panel design. Design documentation and liaison with production.

Chief powerplant designer

Experience: 3+ years integrating piston engines (Lycoming O-320, O-360 or similar) and propellers.
Education: higher technical degree in aviation engineering.
Knowledge: engine mount, exhaust system, cooling system, fuel system, fire protection.
Tasks: re-engineering of the Lycoming O-320 and O-360 with improvements and modern manufacturing options. Engine bay layout, engine mount documentation, engine to airframe integration, interface specifications.

Project updates

Infrastructure rollout: applications open for maintenance, storage and consulting

We are launching a core set of services for the maintenance and infrastructure support of general aviation. Our service and airfield units are fully ready to work with owners and future pilots of light aircraft with an MTOW of up to 5,700 kg.

We are pleased to offer transparent fixed rates for our key areas of work as of 2026.

Consulting: on-site pre-buy technical inspection from 70,000 RUB, legal support of deals with the aviation authority and turnkey airworthiness certificate assistance from 100,000 RUB.

Secure storage: guest apron parking from 1,500 RUB per day, long-term space in permanent heated hangars from 50,000 RUB per month, towing included.

Maintenance: 50-hour inspection from 35,000 RUB, 100-hour and annual inspection from 55,000 RUB, engineer labour hour fixed at 6,000 RUB.

Flight training: administrative help with the medical examination and PPL exams, and experienced instructors for flights on the client aircraft from 6,000 RUB per hour.

We are building an infrastructure where every aircraft receives factory-level care and every pilot is confident in its condition.

T-50 has acquired a SuperFlow SF-902S engine dyno

T-50 is expanding its own test facilities: the company has acquired a SuperFlow SF-902S Performance Dyno for engine testing.

The SF-902S allows us to run in and break in engines, measure power, torque and other key parameters, detect defects and deviations at an early stage, and tune fuel and control systems with high precision.

With the new dyno we can bring our own developments to production quality, confirming stated performance with real measurements.

The dyno was acquired primarily to test the new powerplant currently being developed by T-50 engineers. This is a milestone for the project: we can now run a full cycle of bench tests in house, make changes quickly and bring the product to market faster.

The equipment is available beyond our internal work. The SuperFlow SF-902S can be rented, which is a convenient option for anyone who needs a reliable assessment of engine performance. Rental includes operation under the supervision of our specialists, which guarantees a correct measurement methodology and reliable results.
